LETTER

On 06 August 2004, the Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party issued Official Document No. 5770CV/ VPTU informing that the Secretariat of the Vietnamese Communist Party’s Central Committee agreed to the proposal of the Vietnam Red Cross for choosing 10 August as “Day for Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims”.

DAVA INTRODUCTION

Da Nang Association of Agent Orange Victims is a charitable and social organization of victims of AO and individuals and groups who live and work in the city, and volunteer to make donations and non-material contributions to assist these victims to overcome the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the U.S during the Viet Nam war

+ Establishment date: 05 January 2005 under Decision No. 54/QD-UB of the Danang People’s Committee regarding the establishment of the Danang Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.

Projects calling for support

The Danang Centre for Sponsoring Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims is constructing Facility No. 3 in Hoa Vang District, where a large number of AO/dioxin victims  are living. We very much need the concern and support of domestic and international individuals and organizations.
